According to a press statement by the Air Force spokesman, Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, the operation was carried out by the Air Task operation Diran Mikiya, noting that an armed bandits logistics base at Ajia was destroyed, killing 25 armed bandits.
He noted that the operation that killed the armed bandits and neutralised others was carried out recently following Human intelligence report which indicated that the armed bandits were operating from a compound within Ajia as logistics store to complement their nefarious acts.
