Worried by the increasing cases of coronavirus infections among health workers in the country, the Nigerian Air Force has said it is embarking on the mass production of Personal Protective Equipment f

or the use of medical personnel in its hospitals.

He said NAF would continue to contribute its quota towards the fight against COVID-19 by providing airlift support for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. “Let me remind you that the task of nation building is a collective responsibility especially with the dynamics of the current security challenges facing our country. It is therefore our duty to continue to generate excellent combat elements that can appropriately protect lives and properties of our citizens.

He added, “The Nigerian Air Force in the recent past has contributed and will continue to contribute its own quota to the fight against COVID-19 by providing airlift in support of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as well as embarking on the mass production of Personal Protective Equipment for its hospitals.”

You can imagine their thinking? Is that why we have the NAF? Innocent citizens are being killed by militia daily and our security bodies are making PPEs

Thanks to Coronavirus pandemic. Naija Health sector and Hospitals before now are total disaster. Where beds are either old ones from ages or gum together.

The Nigerian Air Force is smaller in number and I believe receives lower budget allocations compared to the army but the air force is always more productive in all aspects

Misplaced priorities.... You have enough insecurities going on in Nigeria unabated with all the billions allocated to the airforce with little or no results to show for the monies collected ...

The mass production ought to have started 10 weeks earlier, and NigeriaGov must ensure that not a pandemic or any public health emergencies would have taken Nigeria by surprise, not again.

Their level of pettiness and ungrateful stinks! Hmmm, may almighty God protect all our health workers.
