The Federal Capital Territory High Court has fixed December 11, 2019, to hear the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s N19.4 billion fraud suit against incarcerated former National Security Adviser , Col Sambo Dasuki
The court, presided over by Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf, sitting at Maitama, Abuja, on Tuesday, had to adjourn the matter till the new date because of the absence of the second defendant, Col Dasuki, in court. He told the court that the prosecution filed a motion on notice dated October 3 and filed same date, adding that Dasuki’s counsel served the prosecution with a counter affidavit in respect of the motion on notice.
According to Atolagbe, the prosecution was forced to file the motion on notice as it did not hear anything from the senior advocate.
