We worked in the same building at Olatunji House in Lagos.
It was an instinct thing for me but at the same time, I was joking. However, I liked what I saw. When I spoke with her, I found out that she’s intelligent. When you meet a fine lady that is intelligent, what else are you looking for?We got married a year and a half or two years after. That was October 22, 23 years ago. Our marriage will be 24 years in October.I have learnt a whole lot but the fundamental is that it is a woman who holds a marriage together.
I have also learnt that patience is key. Also ,the two people in marriage must not be competitors; when one person is hot, the other should be cold and vice-versa. I also learnt that money is not the first thing needed to have a good marriage. Once you find your partner, you will grow together.
