Ifasoji Ayangbesan, a suspected ritualist recently arrested by the police for his alleged involvement in the killing of a 26-year-old woman, Oyindamola Adeyemi in Ogun State, has said that his lawyer instructed him to source for the sum of N10 million to bribe the police. The police in Ogun State arrested the Ayangbesan, on Friday, April 28 in his hideout in the Ijebu-Ode area of the state. The 35-year-old suspect who reportedly offered the police a bribe of N1 million, in order to evade arrest, denied participating in killing the victim.

Ayangbesan, who is a resident of the Iloti area in the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of the state, said he collected the legs from his friend, Lukman, whom he said exhumed the corpse from a cemetery and severed the legs.He said, “I bought the two fresh human legs, but I was not involved in killing the victim. I was approached by my friend, Lukman, who told me he had a pair of legs to sell.
