Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa,Lecture,Pros And Cons Of Japa

Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), spoke at a lecture titled 'Pros and Cons of Japa' and emphasized the dangers of illegal migration. She highlighted the efforts made by the commission to bring back stranded Nigerians from various countries and urged Nigerians to travel abroad legally.

Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa spoke at a lecture, titled: Pros and Cons of Japa, she delivered at No Dull Moment in Islam , an online platform for Muslim elites and professionals.

“Some of them have subjected themselves to menial jobs that they cannot do in Nigeria. Some lost their lives in the process while others have sold their family inheritance just because they wanted to migrate ,” she said. The NiDCOM boss urged Nigerian professionals to increase awareness and education about the negative effects of irregular migration and the importance of citizens seeking employment within their country.
