An angry mob has set a suspected phone thief and Point-of Sale terminal robber on fire in Ughelli, Delta State.It was learnt that the suspect was shot by the vigilantes before he was set ablaze along Ughelli Road by Glass House on Sunday, June 27.

In a related development, a suspect, who reportedly specialised in snatching mobile handsets, was nabbed on Tuesday, June 29, after dispossessing his victims of valuables at a building housing Kabaka Printing Press in the Ekiugbo area of the metropolis. The source said the owner of the store, who was vigilant enough to discover that the gun the suspected armed robber was carrying was a toy gun, grabbed him and screamed for help.The source said, “We heard an unusual noise from one of the stores upstairs and we rushed to see what was happening, only to meet a man with a pistol rushing down.
