Minister of State for Works and Housing, Mu’azu Sambo, has said that the recent approval of the federal government for the construction of a narrow gauge rail track from Minna to Baro with an extension to the Baro River Port in Niger State, remains a major milestone in infrastructure development in the area.
Sambo stated this when he played host to the management team of the NIWA, led by its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, George Moghalu, who paid him a visit in Abuja. Earlier, Moghalu told the minister that the team was in his office to congratulate him on his appointment and wish him well.
