Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, has urged content creators and producers to shun mis-information/dis-information, but use their platforms to push positive and healthy narratives that will engender peaceful co-existence among Nigerians.

The Director General, National Broadcasting Commission, Charles Ebuebu, described AFRICAST as a platform to address broadcasting challenges in Africa, with its main focus on financing and content . Ahead of the November 11, 2023 governorship polls in Imo, Bayelsa, and Kogi states, Independent National Electoral Commission has raised concerns over spate of recent court judgments and orders in respect of nomination, substitution or disqualification of candidates.
