The Nation Newspaper Minimum wage: Tinubu meets fed govt reps on tripartite committee

has met with federal government team on the Tripartite Committee on New National Minimum Wage at the State House, Abuja, amidst the industrial crisis being led by the organized Labour.

The meeting is believed to be connected to the just suspended Labour industrial strike over the new minimum wage and electricity tariff increase. The Labour movement suspended its nationwide strike on Monday, which had paralyzed the economy, and resumed negotiations with the government yesterday at 1pm.
