The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen.

Abayomi Olonisakin accompanied by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique and Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibot-Ette Ibas, on Saturday paid an operational visit to the Theatre Command in Maiduguri. The Nigerian Air Force and the Nigerian Army, which are two active forces in the counter-insurgency war in the North-East, have lost over N4.8bn in weaponry in the region between January and May, 2019.

According to a document, Mi-35M orders and deliveries, the crashed helicopter is estimated at over $12million or N4.6bn. The records noted, “The Brazilian Air Force signed a $150m contract with Rosoboron export for 12 Mi-35M helicopters in November 2008. The first three helicopters were delivered in December 2009.

In January 2018, a NAF Mi-17 attack helicopter had also crashed in a counter-insurgency operation in Borno State, with claims from the Boko Haram factional leader, Abubakar Shekau, that his fighters shot down the military aircraft.Since January 2019, at least five army bases in the North-East have been attacked by Boko Haram and the Islamic State West African Province fighters, leading not only to loss of soldiers, but also costly weapons.

Don't tell me you're trying to pad budget with weapon loss.

We are dead then.

How much did they lost the previous erstwhile regimes before the current PMB?

So a country lost N4.8bn worth of weapons to a technically defeated insurgent group? Nobody sacked, nobody on trial, nobody in prisoned. Let's just call it quits and conceed to Boko Haram since we are loosing a LGA budget to a technically defeated terrorist group. Nonsense.

This is falsehood. The Military intentionally handed over the Weapons to the Terror group so as to continue killing Biafrans and take-over the Oil rich lands in pretends of fighting and running. N4.8b weapons in enemies hands is a sign Buhari is sponsoring Herdsmen against us!

And the leaders are still in office. Nigeria military donating weapons to BH and herdmen

Normal no big deal.

They didn't lose it, they were given as gift from the federal government.

Trick to embezzle. Who probes the military except the govt is ousted. Hierarchy doesn't even want the insurgency to end; conduit pipe. Lol

What?! We are in serious soup o! If Boko Haram have weapons worth N4.8bn, in their possession, then we are in for it.

That's the work of buratai and his cabals in government. They spent the money
