Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited and Suntrust Oil have said there are no plans to stop their medical outreach to host communities in Delta State despite the setback caused by flood in state last year. The firms disclosed this during a fresh medical outreach to Umusadege and Umusam communities of Kwale in Ndokwa West Council.

Addressing beneficiaries and members of the host community, the Head, Midwestern JV, Mr. Adeche Omotosho-Oboro, represented by the Asset Manager, Mr. Monday Jerume, said that the intervention was one of the ways of strengthening the cordial relationship between the company and its host communities. Also, Head of Corporate Communications, Mrs. Mercy Max-Ebibai, said the organisation had no plans to end the annual medical outreach, which began six years ago.

“For reasons beyond our control, it was impossible to hold the outreach as scheduled in 2022. However, there will be another medical outreach in the last quarter of 2023,” she said.
