Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, fondly called MC Oluomo, has emerged as the acting chairman of the union in southwest.
The delegates also appealed to the Ondo, Oyo, and Osun state governments to allow the union to return to motor parks in their states. He said, “We are supposed to have six states in Zone 2, southwest, but unfortunately, we have only two states where NURTW is currently operating. “At least, we are supposed to have 4 States. So we deliberated, and we agreed to shift the zonal congress to the 19th of October 2023 because we are having the National Delegate Conference on the 25th of October.
