“We commend Iwuanyanwu for calling for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. We urge and hope that his leadership will be consistent and aggressive in pushing for MNK’s release. Iwuanyanwu should remember that he has been in our good books since 2022”, he wrote. Nnamdi Kanu was re-arrested in 2021 by the federal government and has been detained since then despite court orders seeking his release.
