Masked gunmen reportedly kidnapped a poultry manager, Tunde Osifowokan, in Idowa, Ogun State. He was said to have been kidnapped on Monday afternoon when the community came under the attack of men of the underworld.

The gunmen, who arrived at the poultry in a Gestapo-like manner, shot in the air repeatedly and took Osifowokan away after a few minutes. The abduction came barely two days after a Hausa farmer in the community was also reportedly kidnapped.

learnt that the kidnappers, upon arriving at the farm, asked for the whereabouts of the owner of the farm, but since they met the absence of their target, the manager was taken away. Incidentally, Osifowokan is a sibling of the owner. Speaking on the development, the Sobaloju of Idowa, Chief Yusuf Olusanya, confirmed the incident. Chief Olusanya said: 'Yes, the incident is true. The hoodlums, according to what I heard, came wearing masks and shooting sporadically.
