Many people have been killed while farms and properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed following a communal clash between Gungura in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi state and Buri-Buri of Dukku Local Government Area of Gombe State.
Wunti who did not specify the number of people killed in the incident, spoke under matters of urgent public importance, explaining that at about 3:00 am, people from Dukku LGA of Gombe State attacked a village called Bara in Gungura ward. He said, “So many committees were formed in the past to resolve the border disputes but all efforts ended in futility. They have been attacking the people of the area and destroying their properties and now it even includes loss of lives.”
