Many villagers have been feared killed and several others injured after suspected herdsmen attacked Ugbobi community in Apa LGA of Benue State. DAILY POST gathered that residents have deserted their homes, leaving the attackers to raze their houses and loot food items.

A native of the community, Eric Amodu, lamented that the attack has been on for more than two hours now without any security operatives coming to challenge them. He said, 'It's been 2 hours since this morning attack began and still no security forces has made any effort. Obvious conspiracy.

As I speak to you, for three consecutive days, they have been going to Akpete and burning houses after chasing them out of their ancestral homes. “They have been laying in ambush, killing people; one, two, three to five persons on a daily basis. Right now I don’t know the number of casualties. It’s so many. “I have gone to my communities to sympathize with my people and because of the killings, I have developed a problem that I have to go to the hospital to check myself.
