According to the Police Command, Nweke’s son was said to be a student of the school where he was reported to after he alongside other students allegedly stole two kegs of palmwine.
Taking to his X platform , the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer , SP Bright Edafe, on Thursday, said after the students were punished by the school authorities for the offence of theft, Nweke went to the school with a cane to protest the punishment of his son by flogging teachers and one of them slumped and died in the melee.
