One Ibrahim Mohammed Maigandi has been arrested for impersonating the #Zamfara state police commissioner, Usman Nagogo, and duping the senator representing Zamfara West, Lawali Hassan Dan Iya, of N1.8 million. .

He was nabbed after the police received a report from Senator Iya that one man claiming to be CP Usman Nagogo, called him and demanded for a sallah gift. When the suspect called, the Senator directed his personal assistant to collect the suspect’s account number and transfer N200,000 to him. . Thereafter, Maigandi called again and told him that he had given him 9 slots for Cadet ASP’s and Cadet Inspectors and asked the senator to pay N2 million for all the slots. .
