Man Arrives In Mecca For Hajj After Trekking For 3 Years From South Africa | Sahara Reporters

A South African national, simply identified as Saheed, has arrived in Saudi Arabia after spending three years on the road from South Africa.

He said he stayed in Palestine for one year and eight months due to the closure of the border as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.He further confirmed that he would be trekking back to South Africa after his stay in Mecca.It is a mandatory religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by all adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey, and of supporting their family during their absence from home.
