Spokesman of the command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam, stated this in a press statement issued to DAILY POST.
He said the arrest followed a report received by police that a corpse of a 28-year-old man identified as Mubarak was found in a pool of blood with deep knife injury on his neck at the outskirts of Wanzamai village. Shiisu said a team of Policemen visited the scene and the victim was rushed to Hospital for medical attention, and he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.Police spokesman said one Hassan Yahaya of the same address was arrested in connection with the murder.
