Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin and other stakeholders in the legal profession have stressed the importance of justice as the bedrock of development in any society.

They spoke recently during the launching of a compendium of judgments delivered by Justice Afolabi Adeniran titled:

The event, which held at the Jogor Centre, Ibadan, attracted bigwigs in the legal profession, royal fathers and political leaders, including Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin and others. “The present administration in Oyo State upholds the independence of the judiciary and does not interfere with judicial matters,” Makinde said.
