The Niger State Police Command has arraigned a 23 years old butcher, Zaiyanu Abdullahi for alleged unlawful sexual assault of a minor before a Minna

Other charge against him include removal of a child from the custody of parents, sexual abuse and exploitation.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Godwin Adamu, had told the court that the three count charges contravened section 15 , 26 and 27 of Niger State Child Right and Protection Law of Niger State 2021 as amended. It stated that, “You Zaiyanu Abdullahi aged, 23 years, of Tudun Natsira area of Minna took his 13 years old daughter out of his custody without his consent to your house in Tudun Natsira where she stayed and cohabited with you in your house for three months”.
