Long queues as water scarcity persists in Enugu

to lament the widespread water scarcity in the state.

The online protest started by @coal_City on Wednesday with #NoWaterInEnugu had over 14,000 tweets Thursday afternoon.One of the residents @king eze lamented, “I had to use pure water to do virtually everything in my house for five days. I’m in tears and it’s not funny at all.” Another resident, @bomaye2, noted that “750 gallon of GP Tank is N5,000 and it doesn’t last up to 14 days.”Last year, the state government declared a state-of-emergency in its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector.

What a misleading headline? There is no water in Enugu short and simple. U see fine fine storey building, they will just line tanks in d building , u will think that there is water in them but are always empty. Their Governor is still sleeping. Day never break for him.
