Lobi Stars trounce Heartland 3-0 in Makurdi – Daily Trust

2018 NPFL champions, Lobi Stars of Makurdi were in imperious form yesterday as they trounced visiting Heartland FC of Owerri 3-0 in their midweek match played at the Aper Aku stadium in Makurdi.Abdulwasiu Mahmud opened scoring for Lobi Stars in the 9th minute before Sikiru Alimi doubled the lead in the 16th minute.The whitewash of Heartland was completed by John Lazarus in 29th minute to take Lobi Stars to the second spot behind Plateau united.
