The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says it has arrested members of a syndicate who are hoarding and trading the redesigned naira notes in Abuja.
The suspects were also said to have told the EFCC that they were working in connivance with some commercial bank officials.

All bank managers in Ikot Ekpene are guilty. First Bank, UBA, Access Bank, FCMB, Zenith Bank. They hardly put the new notes in ATM machines. They are selling the new notes and giving it out to their pos agents. Their pos agents charge 2k for 10k.
