Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, addresses residents protesting against the continuous presence of armed policemen in the Magodo Phase 2 Estate areaThe Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said the completion of the Lekki Port will put an end to Apapa gridlock and the congestion along Oshodi-Apapa Expressway.Sanwo-Olu said, “The final solution to Apapa gridlock will be the completion of Lekki Port.
“As I speak, several landmark public and private infrastructure and investment projects are underway or nearing completion in Lagos State; the biggest single-train petroleum refinery in the world, one of the largest rice mills in the world, one of the largest and most modern deep-sea ports on the continent, and West Africa’s biggest light rail network. Within the next 24 months, we expect all of these to be operational.
The Publisher of BusinessDay Newspaper, Mr Frank Aigbogun, commended Sanwo-Olu for the great work he had done in tackling the traffic gridlock at Apapa.
And create another at the Eleko axis
Then let the Lekki port come on board pronto
what happened to building and rehabilitating ports in other parts of the country? Lagos isn’t the only coastal state in Nigeria,so why always Lagos? Apapa gridlock didn’t end 3 years ago,2023 is approaching and y’all are beginning to assume initial responsibilities, ode ni gbogbo
Na APC Achievement I guess, just like Dangote Refinery
Ok the gridlock will relocate you mean?
Why is all the seaport located in Lagos? Lekki will soon be like mainland..
Junkie
Anyone noticed how ports in other regions of the country are dilapidated state, while Lagos port is always congested? A sane nation would get the other ports to up and running to ease the burden on Apapa. Unless there’s a monopoly on ports in Nigeria
Will will will . let it just do it first.
Scam
But not Igweocha, Warri or Calabar port?
The same way they promised that Dangote Refinery was going to reduce fuel price.
And create Lekki gridlock, abi?
