The police had arrested six suspects in connection to the death of Mr Imoh.
“A seventh suspect, Usman Abubakar, aged 22 , who literally poured petrol on the victim, was eventually arrested the next day. This brings the total number of arrested suspects to seven,” the statement said.The police also debunked a viral WhatsApp message that claimed that the suspects received N100,000 to admit to the murder.
The police said when they arrived at the crime scene, they arrested four suspects and rescued the other two persons under attack.
