Bishop of Uyo, James Bamidele, from Ekiti State and the Archbishop of Calabar province, A. A Odufuwa, who are from the south-west, have all been removed from the south-south as the crisis lingers.A source, who spoke with reporters in Uyo on Sunday also disclosed that provinces in Edo and Delta, Calabar and Rivers states have threatened a breakaway from the Western provinces of the church.
It was alleged that Udofia was being harassed by church leaders in the Southwest with the intention of ending his tenure abruptly.
