The counsel to Kanu, Aloy Ejimakor, disclosed this in a press release he personally signed and forwarded to DAILY POST on Thursday.
According to him, a fundamental rights proceeding is sui generis. In other words, it is to be treated as special and expected to be concluded quickly, especially in situations where the applicant is incarcerated. Ejimakor had, on August 27, 2021, filed the case, demanding that the Federal Government return the secessionist to Kenya where he was “abducted” from.
