The Department of the Security Services on Tuesday barred journalists from covering the proceedings of the case between the Department of Security Services, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, and the Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho, at the Oyo State High Court in Ibadan.Igboho's house was invaded by the DSS operatives on July 1, where property were destroyed and two people were killed.
Arriving court 7 where the case is taking place, two DSS officers manned the entrance; a senior officer in DSS T shirt approached the journalists and asked them to take permission from the deputy registrar before entering the court.
