As part of the LASAAMP initiative, LASAA is introducing quick payment process helplines to guide business owners through the payment process effortlessly. LASAA’s Head of Strategy and Corporate Communications, Temitope Akande, explained that during the amnesty period, which is scheduled to run from May 15th to June 25th, all signage applications and payment renewals will be treated as amnesty registrations.

The Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency has introduced the LASAA Amnesty Programme , an initiative aimed at streamlining registration and payment processes for both new and existing signage owners. The Federal Government must explore new and innovative ways of expanding the tax base and ensure Nigerians do not see taxes as an additional burden, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said.

The Federal Government may deny petroleum marketers licenses if they fail to include fuel pumps that would supply compressed natural gas .
