The Lagos State Government has said the Olusosun landfill at Ojota will be shut for 48 hours in order to ensure proper maintenance of the site starting from Wednesday.

She said, “The Lagos Waste Management Authority has concluded plans to shut Olusosun Landfill at Ojota, for 48 hours, starting from November 10, 2021, to enable the authority to carry out palliative works on the dumpsite, for seamless waste management operations. Kadiri added that provisions had been made by the agency for the use of alternative landfills during the temporary closure.
