According to Yusuf, the championship will now kick off on Sunday, 15 October while the shift in date was necessitated by the need to put finishing touches to the preparations.The opening ceremony and official kick-off of the 5-a-side football championship takes place at Obele Odan Playing Ground, Surulere, after Surulere Local Government won the hosting right for the tournament’s opening games.
