Lagos State Govt, judges' gifts and healthcare workers - Healthwise

On Wednesday, September 23, the Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, presented 51 Sports Utility Vehicles and eight houses to judges in the state.

Therefore, taking care of high ranking officers in the judgement temple by the government is crucial to insulating them from undue influences and corruption of the judicial process.

These health workers confronting the viral pandemic even had to protest to get their hazard allowance from the state government.in July that the Association of Resident Doctors, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja chapter, complained that the Lagos State Government had yet to pay doctors’ COVID-19 hazard and inducement allowances.

“The COVID-19 hazard and inducement allowances agreed to by the Federal Government have not been paid to doctors in Lagos State,” Oaku had said. They are the ones that should be getting car gifts and houses from an obviously rich Lagos State Government in this period of COVID-19 pandemic as they are putting their lives on the line to help contain the global pandemic.
