Police in Lagos State have arrested a driver, Azeez Babatunde, for alleged unlawful possession of two locally-made pistols in the Maroko area of the state.

Police spokesman in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin , confirmed the arrest in a post he shared on his verified X handle @benHundeyin on Thursday.“At about 5:00 a.m., anti-crime patrol officers from Maroko Division noticed a minibus do a quick U-turn upon sighting them on Hakeem Dickson Street.

“The officers caught up with the vehicle and arrested the only person left in the vehicle, the driver, Babatunde,” the image maker said. Two of Africa's leading professional coaching bodies, the Life Coaches Association of Nigeria and the African Board of Consultants, Coaches and Coaching Psychologists have announced a landmark partnership to propel the coaching profession across the continent.

The Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, SAN has warned against obstructing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission from carrying out its lawful duty .The Central Bank of Nigeria has reduced the Loan-to-Deposit Ratio of deposit money banks from 65 per cent to 50 per cent.
