“The most recent one is the accident that happened in obada oko area, where a tipper driving against traffic crushed three innocent people to death in a taxi.

“Also, the attitude of those reckless drivers is making things difficult along Lagos/Ibadan expressway, where construction work is currently going on. “In view of this, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has directed DPOs, Area commanders and traffic officers across the state to go all out for those recalcitrant drivers who are in the habit of driving against traffic, otherwise known as one way drive, with the view to arrest and deal with them in the most decisive manner.

“Henceforth, anybody caught driving against traffic will have his/her vehicle impounded and such driver will be diligently prosecuted. “The Command hereby with this release warn the general public to desist from driving against traffic anywhere in ogun state, as anyone caught in such act will have him/herself to blame, no matter the status of such a person.”All rights reserved. The most urgent matter arising from the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway is the issue of the abduction by kidnappers of commuters on that Expressway not those driving against traffic. The former is not in the bargain for commuters, while the later is the choice of the individual.

Says who? No be 9ja we dey? Then who dey collect bribe from the motorist that are passing one way? At least police, FRSC and even soldier they there and they're still passing there, how come do they beat the so men called and go through one way?

Open letter to Fashola on Lagos-Ibadan ExpresswayI hope this letter, hopefully not an irritant, meets you well. I also hope that your family is well, and that work is going smoothly. Journalists are one of the major problems of Nigeria. You hardly hear any good news from them. If they couldn't get bad news, they produce one by giving personal interpretation to a speech made during commissioning of a project. Lord, have mercy on Nigeria Good write up. I passed through that road this past weekend and it really was not pleasurable in any way, Nigerians deserve better. It was exactly my thinking that providing alternative roads would ease the stress of commuting on that corridor while the road work subsists.
