He added: “It is also important for you to know that incomplete documentation contributes to delays in processing payment of benefits.”The HoS, speaking yesterday at this year’s send-off for 257 retirees at Adeyemí Bero Hall, Alausa, Ikeja, said empowerment opportunities provided by the government was designed to make retirees employers and provide a source of income from a venture to keep them engaged.
Welcoming participants, Permanent Secretary of Public Service Office, Sunkanmi Oyegbola, noted the contributions of retirees to development of the state and their conduct while in service.
