Residents of Obawole town in the Ifako-ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State have expressed fear over erosion threatening to collapse the link bridge in the area connecting them to adjoining areas.
Some of the residents expressed their fears in an interview with our correspondent on Friday. One of them is a dealer in plumbing materials, Tunde Olukokun, lamented that the road deserved urgent attention. Another resident in the area, Joseph Adenekan, stated that he almost lost his life over a year ago on the bridge.
