To reduce spread of the new wave of COVID-19 and meet up the quest for knowledge among professional drivers, the Lagos State Drivers Institute has concluded plans to commence its on-line training for professional drivers across the state.

General Manager of the Institute, Mrs Afusat Tiamiyu, disclosed this, while featuring on “Ire Ni Ti Wa”, a magazine radio programme on Bond FM 92.9, where she focused on “Importance of LASDRI Card to private and commercial vehicle operators. She stressed that professional drivers that needed to renew their LASDRI recertification card can conduct their training on-line and print a temporary recertification certificate at www.new.lasdri.org.

After going through the training, a temporary recertification card will be issued to them immediately, they are to print it and take it to the nearest Centre or Annex of the Institute to get their permanent recertification card.” She explained. Tiamiyu said the institute would be opening a new annex soon at Task Force Office, Bolade, Oshodi, to further decongest the number of trainee drivers attending the Ikeja centre of the Institute.
