Lagos-Badagry Expressway, shame of the nation – Anglican Bishop

Adeyemi told the News Agency of Nigeria“When we saw the rehabilitation of the expressway between Igbo-Elerin junction and Agbara axis, we were happy thinking that the rehabilitation would get to Badagry.“Nothing is going on as of today between Agbara and Oko-Afo, while the pace of work between Oko-Afo and Ibereko is so slow. NAN reports that on April 4, the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, assured that the ongoing Lagos-Badagry Expressway rehabilitation/reconstruction project was not forgotten but on the 2021 Sukuk funding priority list.He said major drainage works were ongoing and progressing to upgrade the highway from its old status to ensure durable construction, saying that funding challenges were being resolved.“We are owing the contractor.
