The Lagos State House of Assembly has passed a resolution calling on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to ensure completion of the Rail Line project before the end of his administration.
The House passed the resolution in a voice vote conducted by the Speaker, Mr Mudashiru Obasa, at plenary on Tuesday. The speaker noted that the completion of the projects would ensure a substantial reduction in gridlocks across the state.“The project is, thus, aimed at relieving people of the harrowing experiences they face on the roads.
“This is what our people deserve and we are encouraging the governor to do more, particularly on this rail line issue. “We have been on this matter since the Jakande era. We wish Sanwo-Olu becomes the ‘lucky boy’ that will see to the completion of the rail project.”
