The Labour Party, LP, in Edo State has congratulated Barrister Julius Abure on his reelection as the National Chairman of the party. DAILY POST reports that Abure and other members of the National Working Committee of the party were reelected on Wednesday at the national convention of the party held in Nnewi, Anambra State.

The State chapter of the party in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Sam Uroupa, described Abure's reelection as the national chairman of the party as a testament to his quality leadership, dedication and unwavering commitment to the party's ideals. He added that Abure's reelection signifies a vote of confidence from party members and stakeholders in his ability to steer the party towards greater heights.

'As the National Chairman, he has consistently championed the values of the Labour Party, advocating for social justice, equality, and the empowerment of the working class. 'His reelection presents an opportunity for the party to build on its achievements, expand its reach, and further advance its agenda of promoting the welfare and interests of the people', he said.
