The Kogi State Police Command on Wednesday confirmed the attack at the Federal Medical Centre Lokoja by unknown gunmen.
Sources said the hoodlums went to the administrative block of the FMC, destroyed part of the building, carted away laptops and other valuable items. The hoodlums who were fully armed blocked the entrance of the center to prevent people from going into the premises of the center.According to sources, the hoodlums were armed with cutlasses, knives and other dangerous weapons during the attack.
