Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has appealed to youths protesting against police brutality across the country to stop further protests and enter a roundtable dialogue with the government in addressing their various demands... Read More:

Bello made the call on Monday in his address to Nigerian youths which is the 5th in the series of his addresses to the youths since the commencement of the protests about 10 days ago.He said it was time leaders of the protesters come out to engage with the government, adding that it would be difficult for the government at all levels to know who to interface with in resolving some of the issues if there are no leaders, adding that opportunists could hijack the gains of the protests.

We don't have leaders in this protest, all of us are leaders so nobody can bribe us . we are fighting for our right and our unborn generation.

God will destroy you and your entire family what benefits as the good people of kogi state benefited from you the youths are jobless and they’re still killing them like goat 🐐 yet you are saying they should stop this is just the beginning

They should focus and getting those tauts they sent on the street to disrupt peace protest out ..✊✊

No

Pack well joh

In a developed country, bello should be chilling behind the bar by now. Unfortunately, he's our to talk to youths. A governor that have been using thugs to terrorize the youths in his state who are demanding for good governance? It's a pity!

Look at dis godforsaken idiot... Hu invited him to this talk

Which werey dialogue, please dont these governors have advisers, they spit shit often times. endsars

There's nothing to discuss na. Na because previous discussions nr dey ever dey get head na make we dey protest na. If you want us to stop, you better start doing your jobs. If we see what we like, we'll stop. Hope I'm not alone on this?

There's no need for roundtable sir the government should come out and met the demand on the table, it's wrong for a father to call out his children to the dinner table addressing them saying sorry kiddos there won't be food for 2days but hopefully next tomorrow we may get a cut.

This one is confused

Madman who couldn't pay salary or develop his State! How perfect are you to address this protest issue?

You are part of the problem

Mtchhhheee.... We in kogi knows the pepper that is hurting our eyes dere.. A peaceful prayer walk on Saturday was stop by our governor on 17th October we all had to go home. Yesterday Ayingba (kogi State University) ppl were beaten by thugs during a peaceful prayer walk

When you all are looting did you call the youth on a round table to loot too , so you need round table ,we are not interested with your food , our demand is what we want

Yahaya Bello, he has no single record of good deeds. He built canopies with Billions of naira. He's not making any sense.

Why did the government wait for protest before they start thinking with their brain? Is that what obtains in countries you loot our money to? Our demands are numerous and the government has to prioritize them Shikena EndSARS EndBadGoveranceInNigeria EndNASSbloatedspending

Anyway. He's one of the beneficiaries of this evil

iam_elasdon IBE AGHANYA-Kogi Commissioner of Police between 2007-2008 that supervised d killing of over 50 youths, properties worth billions(Houses, cars& Market)burnt in Ogaminana community of Adavi LG,Kogi State. He needs to account for his evil deeds. EndPoliceBrutality EndSARS

U are right sir

We don't want any round table nothing... The only time we would consider stopping this protest is when the Government go on live TV to say that all the demands of the youths will be met. Till then EndSARS EndPoliceBrutality EndBadGovernanceinNigeria

Is like this man want to suffer for 600years

God go punish you

The governor of the youths . On the issue of salary payment, if governors don't look towards finding ways to encourage markets ,trading, stalls and factories, they won't be able to pay salaries too in the future. The biggest employer of labour is SMEs.
