The Adogu of Eganyi, Kogi State, HRH Muhammed Adambe, has regained his freedom.The abducted first class traditional ruler was released on Saturday evening after five days in captivity.

The source said that the monarch could not tell exactly where he was taken to, but believed that it was outside Ebiraland.Adambe was kidnapped on Tuesday along Okene–Ajaokuta road while returning to his domain after an engagement in Okene.However, the source could not tell whether ransom was paid to secure the release of the traditional ruler from his abductors, who had negotiated N6 million by Friday evening.

The President, CAC Worldwide, Dr. Henry Ojo, raised concern during the 25th anniversary of the CAC Arogungbogunmi International, Olunde, Ibadan, yesterday.
