Killing of senior army officers by Boko Haram regrettable – HURIWA

Buhari , and the Army Chief, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai over the unfortunate killing of some very senior military officers amongst scores of other heroic combatants, saying that the fact that senior officers have also made supreme sacrifices demonstrates the honesty, devotion, resilience and total commitments of the Nigerian military and the federal government to the war on terror.

It said, “These regrettable and very sad deaths of senior officers as well as ranks and file should send us all the signal that the men and women in military uniforms must be supported and appreciated and that under no circumstances should anybody or group play Ethnic or religious politics with the war on terror going by the abundance of evidence that the military truly wishes to liberate the territorial platform of Nigeria from external and internal sabotage and insurrection of the most...

Specifically, the rights group called for a voluntary donation by corporate bodies as well as individuals to the Nigerian military to assist the government to actualize a quick end to the ongoing war on terror even as the rights group said the Federal Ministry of Defence should open a dedicated account details so Nigerians can donate to buy basic necessities in aide of the so much that the hierarchy of the Nigerian military is doing with the limited funding components of the war on terror.

Commending the army, it said, “HURIWA commends the military for these uncommon efforts. As we are told that at Arina Woje in Marte Local Government Area , where Islamic State of West Africa Province elements were confirmed to be hibernating, the identified targets were attacked by Nigerian Air Force fighter jets and helicopter gunships, resulting in the destruction of some structures and the neutralization of several terrorists.

Junior army's life not really matter or don't they have a families too Yeye set of people

You wouldn't hear that gang called MURIC say anything to that. When it comes to Christian/ Muslim, they will be making their stupid noises.

You people should condem both killing Junior army and the innocent civilians not only the senior one which for me looks floolish
