The state Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Jafaar Muhammad, stated that the scheme would be under the umbrella of the Kebbi Contributory Health Care Management Agency.
Speaking with journalists shortly after a meeting with employees of the KECHEMA and the NHIS in Birnin Kebbi, Muhammad said the exercise would benefit a lot of people in the state. “The KECHEMA will partner the NHIS in accrediting facilities towards ensuring universal health care coverage of all people in the state,” the commissioner stated.
