Katsina State rapid response team on COVID-19 says it has expended N920m out of the over N1b it gathered as donations in the ongoing fight against the pandemic.

Most of the monies were used for setting three functional isolation centres, rehabilitation, upgrading and conversion of 150 bed capacity hostels at NYSC and 200 bed capacity center at Batagarawa.Others include; setting up 10 bed capacity holding centre at each of the 23 general hospitals as well as facilitating accreditation of Sahel medic lab as one of the approved center for testing.
