According to Sadiq, its operatives secured the arrest of the 30-year-old fugitive, identified as Said Yaro, also known as “Sabon Jini,” acting on credible intelligence. During the investigation, Yaro confessed to his involvement in the orchestrated ambush that led to the tragic deaths of Area Commander Dutsinma, ACP Aminu Umar, and another brave officer. Yaro revealed that he had conspired with other criminals under the command of Abubakar Jankare, another notorious bandit leader who are currently at large. Also recovered from the fugitive in the course of the investigation were cache of arms and ammunition.
